Google Street View Hits Bristol!

Here at Forward Slash Media, we spotted the Google Street View car near Queens Square in Bristol on the 14th July 2008 where it circled Queen Square and the surrounding areas with its roof-top camera and then made its way around to the centre of Bristol.

We got a few happy snaps of the car as it drove past our Queen Square offices and have uploaded them for all to see!

Please feel free to view our Google Street View Images and e-mail us any others that you may have!

Let us know where and when you seen the car as we are interested to know how Google are covering Bristol and the United Kingdom…are they doing the BS1 area first then expanding outwards or is it more random??

What is Google Street View?

An extension of Google Maps and Google Earth, Google Street View is a feature which provides a 360 Degree panoramic street-level views of streets and cities. It was first launched in May 2007 and is currently expanding to cover the United Kingdom.
