Designalldone represents the brainchild of 2 designers with over 10 years of experience in graphic design. After seeing dozens of US based stock imagery sites appearing on the web, they perceived a gap in the market for a UK focused offering.
Situation
Designalldone required an online presence that allowed sellers to upload work and buyers to be able to purchase work. A key requirement was to ensure minimal man hours were required to take stock from a seller uploading to it being published on the site. Designalldone knew in advance that funding would be required and as such a proof of concept was targeted as the deliverable.
Objective
In order to achieve the above, Forward Slash Media worked in conjunction with Designalldone to:
- Incorporate the required branding into the site.
- Develop a sophisticated workflow to manage the upload and approval process.
- Design a sophisticated search facility to allow potential buyers to easily identify and purchase imagery.
Results
The project was completed over a 12 month period and has exceeded the expectations of all parties. Complete cross browser functionality was achieved to ensure that a potentially mac based audience wasn't excluded and the approval workflow was reduced to 50% below the target.
